OK - I know a lot of you are guru's and I'm still 'green behind the ears'.
If you can help (and save me a lot of time), I'd appreciate it.

What options have to be in place in order for a user to have a name
automatically pop up when this user starts entering the name in an email
address?

Thanks in advance.....

What version of Outlook?

OL2002/2003 have autocomplete - previous versions have "autoresolve' which
is not what you're describing. Autocomplete takes a while to 'learn' - to be
populated with a cache of names you've already typed into e-mail messages.

Sorry - it is Outlook 2000. This user wants the name(s) from their address
book to appear when she starts typing the name in the 'To:' field in an
email.

"Lanwench [MVP - Exchange]"

By the way, if one is a newbee, one is "green" (like a newly-grown trig) or
"wet behind the ears" (like a newly-born puppy), but I like mixed metaphors
as well as the next guy.

Outlook 2000 doesn't have that ability.
