I have recently installed a Hercules 3D Prophet 4500 32Mb
TV-out AGP VGA graphics card into my system. I have
downloaded and installed the latest drivers from the
Hercules Europe website, and the monitor displays
correctly when using the default Windows VGA driver, yet
crashes and loses all display when rebooted once the
installation of its own drivers is complete. I can confirm
that the on-board VGA port was working prior to this
installation, and that it does not work whilst the AGP
card is installed, as I expected. The problem appears to
be with Windows' driver settings, as the screen blanks
(and the monitor goes into suspend mode) only once the
coloured Windows boot progress window has finished
loading. In debug mode, the system halts at a "STOP"
declaring a "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" along with the
addresses. I am learned in the ICT field, yet I am not
expert enough to know what I need to do to remedy this.

16 Colours just aren't enough!!!

Did you download correct drivers?
Were the drivers not on cd with the card?, together with an installation
guide?
