I came to work on Monday and all of our contacts and our calendars were
empty!! Does anyone know of any way to retrieve the contact or calendar info?

Restore from you most recent backup, of course.
Or you could provide some information on what actually happened. You'll no
doubt be happy to know that Outlook does not do this. Only end users are
able to lose their data. You have provided no information whatsoever.

Were these contacts and Calendars in Public Folders?
Do you use Exchange?

Dear Russ,
I am sorry but I did not know what info may have been needed as this is my
first time on the board.
We came into work on Monday morning and I had left my outlook open over the
weekend. All looked fine at first but when I tried to close a v-card the
system seemed to freeze so I had to shut down my computer. When I re-started
the computer and opened outlook all of my contacts and my entire calender was
empty.
Today we tried to do a system restore to last Friday but nothing came back
at all. This happened to all of our computers and some lost a bit of info and
others lost everything.

Nikki,
We have everything in folders that can only be seem by others within our
company and yes we use Microsoft Exchange.

Thanks so much for any help you may or may not be able to offer.

Are you running against Exchange Server or are you using local data files?

Then you should be asking your Exchange Administrator, not us. Problems with
your Exchange mailbox should not be solved through the client software or by
anyone unfamiliar with your Exchange Server setup.

Has you Exchange admin addressed this issue with you yet?
My guess is you had a "catastrophic failure" on your server
and your IT/Exchange Admin is trying to recover the info.
