Found this js in my temp internet folder that I am unable to delete manually,
with Norton 2003 or System Mechanic 5. I am concerned because it is a js. The
address is: www.passportimages.com/helppane.js. Whose and what is this?

This is a new entry, past couple of days. I clean my system every day.

Did a google search, one site said it belonged to Microsoft, others were no
help. Searched the XP Newsgroups without result.

This file is almost certainly part of hotmail's login screen. It's
harmless, although I can't imagine why you can't delete it.

Eric -
Kind of strange that I have not updated hotmail, and this only started a
couple of days ago. I did go to the website and noted that the script
displayed the signin tab. With all the spoofs going around, and even though
it looked like the Hotmail sigin tab, I wanted to te sure. I even tried
deleting it after a fresh boot. Oh well, if it is really harmless, not a big
deal - just like to have thing tidy :-)

Thanks for the quick reply!
