My husband and 20yr old son and I were the only 3 in our
5 member house to have administrative options on Windows
XP. After an arguement one night, my son changed my
husband's account type, and mine as well. Along with the
acount type, he changed all of the passwords on our login
screen. My son has left now, and no one in our household
has access to our home computer. Is there a way to hack
into his acount and change our setting back?

Boot into safe mode and log on with ADMINISTRATOR account then use
"User Accounts" in control panel to change passwords in all your
accounts.

Then go to "Help and Support" and search for:-

password reset disk

and follow the instructions for creating a password reset disk for use
in the future.
