i am doing a presentation with sound and i need to export
it into a format which can run independantly. i've tried
to save it as a presentation but all of the sound gets
out of synch. could anyone help me?
.
not sure what the problem is but I suspect there are two
things you should think about. First, if synching, I
assume you are using "Custom Animation" and bringing in
text or pictures gradually. I find if I use sound, I
have to split my presentation into numerous slides,
instead of a big slide with 3 or 4 graphics or bullets, I
copy the slide, add the next bullet, copy the next slide,
add the next bullet, etc. Then my sound is only one or
two sentences, if you are speaking over the presentation.
Also, get familiar with "slide transition" if you haven't
already. By playing with the timings and the method of
moving from slide to slide, you might get this to work.
I suggest you try this out with a small or subset of your
presentation. It can really get you messed up and fixing
it for a bunch of slides is a lot harder than a few.
Once you are sure about what you are doing, you can play
with it on a big presentation. Make backup copies
because as you will find, one wrong button and all your
sound files get messed up.
