I cannot find the caculator in the list of programs (in accessories) to put on my start menu?

Any suggestions where to find it?

Thanks,
Joe

Joe, you should have started a new thread ( click [New Post], not [Reply...] on the Toolbar) for your query is entirely unlike the query the Original Poster of this thread sent in a few days ago. Put in the Subject line something like "Calculator Missing" or similar to give an idea what the problem is, as distinct from the other queries, in no more than a few words.

Check to see if Calculator is still in your computer. Use the Search tool. If it is, then it is merely a matter of bringing it into the [All Programs] > [Accessories] list ( use the drag-and-drop technique on the Calculator file, from its current location to [Accessories], in the expanded Folder Tree in the Lt. pane of [My Computer]).

If Calculator doesn't exist -- it has somehow been erased, for it should be present by default -- you can reinstall this file from the CD that came with your computer. Besides the WinXP OS, there are other components; it is well worth your while to investigate. Start the CD running > [Welcome to...] > [Install optional...] > [Accessories & Utilities] Details > [Accessories] Details > [Calculator] to be highlighted and [OK]. You can achieve the same using the Utilities in the Lt. pane of the [Add and Remove Programs] window ([Start] > [Control Panel] > [Add and Remove Programs])

Good luck.

Bee.
