Just installed XP Pro on my son's computer..know my monitor won't stay on.
Is my video card not capatable? Do I need to strip the XP off the computer.

Tried installing the latest drivers from the video card or chip
manufacturer's WEBsite?
If results are poor, ROLL BACK to the original drivers. If you are not
familiar with this process, consider enlisting the help of someone who is.
