there is recovery software on the net, just type in
search recover files. or take it to a tech.

It goes nowhere!!!
All emptying the recycle bin does is to tell windows that
the space these items were using is now free to be
written over.

To recover lost data you need to stop using your computer
right now,(so your data won't be written over) and
purchase a data recovery program

You would need a data recovery Program. Easy REcovery is
the EASIEST I have used. Remeber. When Installing this
New Program..... If you install to the same disk that you
are trying to recover data from .. It may Over write that
area of the disk and the data will not be recoverable.
Install to a different Partition or even a different XP
machine if the data is that important and then put this
drive in the machine as a slave drive so it can be accessed

Out of recycle bin, I think, usually means kiss it
goodbye. BUT ... there may be good news. Can you do or
have you tried a system restore? Go to start, all
programs, accessories, system tools, system restore, and
you can restore all settings to a prior date (like when
it was still there). That should work, but if not (once
again - I think) - you'll have to reinstall from
installations disks. Try the system restore and if that
doesn't work you'll need some more tech-savvy advice than
I can offer.
