OUR COMPANY OFFERS A VACANY TO MANAGE OUR UK CUSTOMERS PAYMENTS.

MAIL (e-mail address removed)

Does it pop up in a little message box? If so it could be one of the messenger popup ads.

Try enabling the Windows Firewall in Windows XP:

To open Windows Firewall, click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Windows Firewall.

seems a little strange for a spyware message!
Yeah, do make sure your firewall is activated though (if it isn't already), and try a spyware/adware scanner

comes up as a messager service.

anyone know what it is?.

pops up now and again.

I have even clean out the temp files. My spyware removed did';nt even pick it up.

Re: Message from CWWSOFT

Don't know where this message comes from but I have been sent it a couple of times along with other "messenger service" messages. They are not forms of spyware, just people using the microsoft messenger service and your ip address to send you messages.

The best way to stop these messages and others like them is to disable the actual messenger service which as far as I know provides no useful purpose to the ordinary user. The way you do this is to go into administative tools under control panel and then services where it should be listed. Simply stop the service and ensure it is not set to start automatically the next time the computer starts.

You can tell if this has worked by clicking start, run, then typing cmd, hit return. In the command prompt box type: net send 127.0.0.1 my messenger service is still turned on. If you get a grey box appear with "my messenger service is still turned on" written in it you need to take another look at the services list. If you receive an error message along the lines that the message couldn't be sent you have resolved the problem.

Hope this helps.

Phil.
