I created a 17 minute film of my daughters soccer game. It plays awesome on a
omputer. I also copied it to a CD and IT plays on computers but NOT on any
DVD players. What can I do to play this on a home DVD player?

Thanks

Duh...if I would have just taken a moment to read posts I would have found my
answer...can NERO burn the content to CD or must it use DVD? Thanks all.

Hey,

Most DVD sotware will burn VCD's and even SVCD's. VCD's play in most of
todays DVD players,...while SVCD's will play in most newer machines.
I've tried using these options for shorter movies to preserve my DVD discs,
but have to say that the video quality is so much lower (mpg1 compression
instead of mp2 used for DVD conversion) I just decided to bare the extra
expense of sticking with DVD production. Sometimes I wait and combine
shorter movies on a single DVD to get more out of a single disc.

So the answer would be yes,...U can burn to CD, but you'll have to decide
how much quality you want to compromise. DVD burners are getting cheaper and
DVD discs are on sale (for the lower speed discs) at 2 for price of 1 lately
in my neighborhood. If it's a matter of not having a DVD burner, you should
really think about making the jump.

Good Luck,
