I'm running Windows XP Home Edition.
I have 3 speakers. One big one and two tiny ones.
When u go to sounds and audio devices in control panel,
then advanced in the volume tab,
THERE IS NO CATEGORY FOR HAVING THREE SPEAKERS
the big speaker that I have is doing absolutely nothing.
What can I do so that sound comes out of all three
speakers?

It sound like you have a 2.1 system, consisting of a subwoofer (the big
speaker), and two satellites, (the two small ones). These systems are designed
to emit the mid-range and treble tones through the satellite speakers, leaving
the subwoofer to handle the bass. There is a circuit somewhere in the speaker
called a crossover. This sends all the low frequencies to the subwoofer. If
you have your system connected to a stereo output, then Windows treats it as if
it is merely two speakers. If you are not getting any sound out of the
subwoofer, then check your connections.
