Can anyone please assist us. We are trying to print
labels from a filtered document in MS Works database. We
have just recently had a new version - Windows XP
installed on our PC and we are having difficulty trying
to perform this task. On the old MS Works the system
allowed for printing of labels in MS Works under the
Tools plate on the taskbar, unfortunately this not
possible.

Is there anybody outthere.

Regards

Start, Programs, Microsoft works, Microsoft works task launcher, letter and labels tab. Is this what you need?

Please quote the post you are replying to - a large majority of people here
do NOT use the web access and so may not see the original, depending on
their view settings. It also keeps the integrity of the thread if you quote.

Thank you.

If you have MS Word (or another WP with label printing facility), add
a new record 1to your Works database that contains column headings
and save the filtered data base as a "Text & tabs" .txt file. Print
labels in Word "Letters & Mailings / Envelopes & Labels tool" using
the saved txt file as input.

And you would do WHAT if you were?

Why not just conform to Usenet practice instead of making stupid threats
that you couldn't carry out even if you had the chance. You have NO idea
what strange skills I have that involved KILLING have you?

Huh. If I did "come after you" you wouldn't know what had hit you anyway.

So count yourself lucky you are NOT in England (we wouldn't have you
anyway.....)

And go away and play with yourself like a good little boy.......
