Hello Holly,
In order to delete what you have searched for in the past, all you have to
do is go to the input box (search box) and push the "down" arrow key (this
will show you all the entries that have been searched for), using the arrow
keys navigate to the text that you want to delete and push the "delete" key.
This will delete the word that you have searched for in the past.
