Have you checked to see if anything is actually on the disc? If not try
placing it in your drive and clicking on properties to see how much space has
been used on the cd. You can also try exploring the cd also.
You probably need to install a UDF reader if this CD was made before XP.

Download the file in one of your folder or make a new folder and save the
file in it.
After you download the file, open the folder and double click on the file to
install it.
Reboot your computer.
Now try to read the CD by opening My Computer and double click on the CD
drive listed there.
This might be a basic question and you may have already done so. Flip the CD
over and see if there is anything even burned to the CD. She might have
thought she put them on the CD.
