JPEG is a type of file used for photos and you recognize such a file because
the extension (three letters after the period in a file name) is .jpg
So the file name would be:
anyname.jpg
If you have such a file it was made either from a digital camera or from a
scanner or downloaded from the web.
To send such a file via e-mail you right click on the file name and you
click on Send to on the opening menu. A list will open, click on Mail
recipient. If you use Outlook or Outlook Express, a window will open asking
you if you want to reduce the file size for e-mail. Answer Yes. Outlook will
open and you will see the name of the file in the line "Attach". Just fill
in the address of the recipient and compose your message and send.
To practice, send the e-mail to yourself. When you receive it, right click
on the file name and click on Open. The photo should open on your screen.
