HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a old Win 98 computer and a new Win XP Computer. I
want to transfer files from the old computer to the new
one. I have a normal Parallel to Parallel lead (will this
help?).

I have purchased a Sony MicroVault but the Win 98
computer does not write onto the MiroVault. I have also e-
mailed Tech. Support (Sony) but they said it was
ncompatible. Can You Help with that as well?

Thank you very much if you can solve 1 or even both of my
problems
