help!

I somehow have made my slides take up the entire screen. Now I can't take
notes nor do all the words show up on the slides...how can i fix this?

It is not quite clear what the problem is.
If you inadvertently started the presentation, which will take the entire
screen just press Escape.
If the slide takes up the entire screen in edit mode, then you could go to
the View menu and click on normal view (restore windows) or ctrl+click on
the normal view icon in the bottom left area of the screen.
If it is something else altogether, post back and we will try to help some
more.

In addition to Luc's advice it could be that the file association is broken
and it is opening ppts in the viewer when you double click them - there have
been a few reports of this recently so I think something happened in an
