I think I deleted something important in a folder. This is going to sound
dumb, but I was trying to clean up some space and basically started
deleting
all files I didn't think I needed.
When I try to open PowerPoint, I get a Microsoft Installer box and then an
Error box with Error 25090. It says to go to the Office Error Engine but
that
doesn't end up working and it says Fatal Installation Error. I have
Windows
XP with Microsoft PPT 2003.

How do you know you deleted "some component of PowerPoint"? I mean, did
you
delete something specific, and now PPT won't start? If so, what did you
delete?
Otherwise, what happens when you try to start PPT? Do you get an error
message of some sort? Also, which version of PPT, and what version of
Windows?

there
anything I can do to get PowerPoint to open again?
