I installed some windows updates when my computer prompted me to. (I have
windows xp) When installation was complete I clicked to restart-computer
shut down and when it restarted windows didnt load. All I got was a message
saying this is not a bootable disk. Please insert a bootable floppy and
press any key to continue.
What the heck is that all about and how do I fix it?

Since you don't mention the system at all, it's just a guess on what you
might have in the way of repair facilities. Press F8 on restarts 'black
screen', and enter "Safe Mode With Command Prompt" to run System Restore.

Thanks for your response. I cant even get to that point. As soon as I
restart the screen comes up black with the error message on it and no matter
what key I press the message repeats.

Remove the diskette from the 3.5" floppy drive. Remove all USB drives. Remove all
CD's and/or DVD's from the drives. Did that help?
