I just inatalled Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 on my laptop and i made a new
virtual disk and it wont boot! it keeps saying " Reboot and select proper
boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device" What do i do??

Hello Comp-u-freak,

What will you install in virtual pc? It is built to run a complete operating
system, which you have to install like a normal computer from the installation
disk.

Just like Meinolf wrote, what you created with that hard disk is a blank
machine. In order to be able to work with it, you need to install an
operating system on it. Have a look at some online tutorials - mister
google will guide you.

Hi Meinolf Weber(???),
i wanted to install programs from my windows xp computer to my vista. ex-
Adobe Photoshop, AutoCad 2000, SolidWorks, ect. The situation is that i had a
computer(Windows XP) and i got a laptop for christmas (Windows Vista) and now
i want to install some of the afore mentioned programs to my laptop. I
downloaded virtual pc to my Thumb Drive and installed it to my laptop. From
there, I got lost.

Ok. ill try that. thanx! -

Hello Comp-u-freak,

As i told you virtual pc simulates a computer hardware. You have to install
XP or vista in it like a normal computer.
