Help!

My desktop is messed up. The blue panel that you would see in my documents on
the left, My Folders, Details etc is stuck on my desktop as well as my icons.
I have checked settings and they are not locked. I have tried refresh and
taskmanager and more. Any help would be appreciated.

Try the following.

Go to Start -> Run and enter this command in the Open box.

regsvr32 /i shell32

Click OK.

If that doesn't solve the problem, download and run the
registry fix available at this web site.

A GREAT BIG HUG TO YOU! Many thanks! It not only solved the desktop problem
but a few other little dittys as well. This is a great place. I wish I foulnd
this site sooner. I have spent many hours fixing and undoing what my three
kids have done but this one I was at my ends wit. Thank-you ever so much.
