I installed IE 7 today and could not get into yahoo games........ if I
try to go in through opera, its gives me a invalid bytecode when the
window pops up. when I go through my ie 6 that I had to reinstall It
just sits there with a big red x in the upper left hand corner. What
happened?... I did a system restore thinking that would solve it after
I un installed the IE 7 but still nothing. Can someone help me
please.... Yahoo games is my stress releaser ....... lol Thanks in
Advance

The big red X is a placeholder for images. It might be that the settings
in IE have changed. To check, open IE, click on 'Tools', 'Internet
Options', 'Advanced'. Scroll down to the 'Multimedia' section. Make sure
the 'Show pictures' entry is checked and the 'Show image download
placeholders' is unchecked.

Hi evenbetta1,

Try adding yahoo.com to your trusted sites in IE.
If you need more help with IE, try the IE newsgroups on this server. :-)

Thanks so much for the reply, I did all that you've stated and all was
correct but as of right now I'm still not able to access the yahoo
spades game, the others like pool, checkers or chess i can get into but
not spades. Do you have something else I can do?

THanks

ok sorry for the double post but I went in and tried to open the
browser again and then copied what the java console said... here it
is......

and on the bottom of the browser window it says... Applet ygames_applet

and of course the Red X is still ever so present in the upper left hand
corner of the page. i hope this can help u to diagnose what it is I
need to do.

Thanks in Advance,
Diana
