I installed Windowsxp on a old PC,the Video card is trident 9750,where can
i find the driver? If you have one, sent it to me please! Thank you very
much!!!

XP is the next OS in the NT family after 2000. There is a chance that a
driver certified for NT will work for XP, or a driver certified for XP for a
similar model could work. There does not appear to be a driver certified
specifically for XP for the 9750. If neither works, they will need a new
video card.

XP often does not work on "old PCs". How old? What other specs?

Windows NT is not Windows XP, not likely that the driver is compatible.

Windows XP is in fact Windows NT version 5.1

That does not guarantee that drivers written for older versions of
Windows NT (e.g. version 4) will work, but they might.

Yeah yeah, and a 2006 Mustang is a version of the original Mustang, but
parts from a 69 Mustang won't work with it.

I took a quick look on www.driverguide.com

and they listed drivers for that card claiming all windows operating

systems

Sorry, I don't have a password for that web site. Can you tell me who
wrote the driver for XP? Was it the video card's manufacturer?

One can only hope it was written by the mfg =] Your point is well
taken, and that is that it's a website that WHO KNOWS what they are
serving you.

They might, depending which parts you're talking about. I doubt they
changed every single piece to be incompatible with other cars of the same
model.
Windows NT is not a 69 Mustang. It is just a few years older than Windows
XP. 1993 Mustang to 2001 Mustang?

XP was made to be at least partially backward compatible. It can run most
programs that were written for the original NT. There's a good chance it
can recognize some drivers.
