HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i recently bought a new hard drive ibm deskstar 180gxp
185.2gb. When ever i start my computer i get this error
message saying Primary master\slave hard disk fail. So
what might be causing this problem? Please help me!!

Your computer cannot support this size drive or the drive has failed. Get a
ATA133 controller and see if it can see the drive.

Well do you have the drive connected correctly or you may have a
bad drive, if so I would return the drive, and get a replacement

Is the hard drive installed correctly? Are the cables (IDE and power) both
firmly connected. Please provide more information so people reading this NG
can help you.

Or, he could try updating his BIOS - it might then be able to see the drive.
