Google Internet Connection Sharing. There are step by step how to's for
setting this up though you are far ahead of the game getting a wireless
router for $50.

PS help is never a good choice for thread title. Eveyone needs help. Be
specific as to what you need help on in your title. Best of luck.

Hi Prateek,

If you are getting cable or DSL then the modem goes to the PC with two cards
and you can then connect one card to the internet and the other card to the
second PC - for that PC to PC connection you will need a "Crossover" cable.

You can then set up ICS "Internet Connection Sharing" on the PC with two
cards and it will allow traffic through to the other PC. The first PC will
have to be on all the time the second PC wants the internet. The first PC is
more or less acting as a "Router".

However the advice you already got is a MUCH better way forward because it
is more secure and a lot easier to set up. If your internet connection is
dial up then using ICS is a viable option.

Hi Charlie

Thanks for replying back

The exact problen now is that i am not even able to connect two systens
togather .I tried to connect them using Crossover" cable but It failed.

Can you please document step by step tha complete process so that i can
succesfully connect my computers.

Please forward me any related document so that i can study it and learn
the trick.

Thanks
Prateek

You need to learn how to web search. No one is helping you if they do this
for you. It's easy. Just put into Google "internet connection sharing"
without the ""'s and you have over 70 MILLION selections which MS's about
3rd. Browse thru the how tos to find the one that makes the most sense to
you and print it out. This is easy. Start with getting networking working
with a crossover then move on to ICS.
