Lack of information precludes a proper answer to your query.

We need to know:

1) What is the make/model of your CD Burner hardware?
2) Have you successfully burned CDs in the past?
3) What application(s) are you using to try and burn CDs?
4) What operating system (and service pack level of said OS) are you
running?
(XP Home Edition? XP Professional? XP Media Center? XP Tablet
Edition? Other?)
(SP2? All updates beyond that?)
5) Have you checked for updated CD burner firmware and/or updated hardware
drivers for your motherboard/video/network/etc? --> NOT from Microsoft
Updates!
6) What have you done to try and troubleshoot your problem?
7) I suppose you mean Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0.7? Are you downloading the
full install file from the web site and running the application manually?
What error messages are you receiving (word-for-word.)
