Hi,

I am using Outlook Express 6 2004

Where is my calander and how do i use it

thanks
In rules how do i make it go straingth into my folder and not keep one in my
inbox???

This is an Outlook newsgroup. Outlook Express is NOT Outlook ( I know
that they sound similar).

Outlook has a Calendar. Express doesn't. Outlook is part of Office.

Outlook Express does not have a calendar, Outlook does. OE does do message
rules accessed from tools>message rules>mail.

It's easy to set up a rule that says (for example) "where the to field
contains [my name] move it to the [my name] folder but you must add "And
stop processing more rules" to each rule which is something a lot of people
forget. I suggest you look at the site below and if you still have questions
find a group specifically for OE... and it's also better to use OE for news
reading too... http://www.charlietame.org/oe/newsgroups.htm . There is a
link to the OE group on that page to help you set up OE.

Outlook is a much more sophisticated mail program, if you use email for
business it is probably much better than OE when you get used to the
facilities it offers, but although the names are similar they are really
completely different programs with few similarities. If you choose to try
Outlook then OE will still be used for newsgroups. You are right to move
email from the default folders into your own, this is good for both OE and
Outlook I think. I can't answer much about Outlook, I use OE and am having
to get used to Outlook at work so I'm here studying the same as you :)

thank you
i thought i was in the right section...
