help!

hello,

When i start my computer and everything loads i go to click on aim, internet
explorer, norton antivirus, my computer and so on , i can't acess any of it.
My wireless router seems to be working. and my music sharing program seems to
be connected. So I restart in safe mode. dont do anything is safe mode.
restart and everything works perfecty fine. I really dont think i should have
to start, restart in safe mode, then start back up in normal mode to get my
computer to work properly. I ran norton anti virus and my spyware software
and nothing shows up. This has been like this for a few days now. The only
thing i can relate it to is perhaps a "stupid" program i downloaded for
smiley faces for aim. I deleted the program but perhaps it changed a
configuration or is still on my machine. I can not figure out what is wrong
with my computer. Any assistance in this matter would greatly be appreciated.

The "stupid program" was probably malware. Since I don't know what your
"spyware software" was (and if it is AOL's program that's useless), go
through the following removal steps systematically:
