Id like to think I have a comparable knowledge of how this works, but here
goes.

I cannot access any webpages that are NOT in my favorites folder. I disabled
my norton firewall, checked all settings, even did a restore to yesterday
when the bastard worked fine! Im sure its easy to fix, Can someone point me
in the right direction?

Hi Combat Solider :-)

First:

The temporary I.E. files folder is a cache for web pages that you have
visited. I don't know why Microsoft sets the default so high, but I have
seen 2gb set for storage. This and other setting can be changed to decreace
the size of the storage area, and supposedly delete the I.E. temp file when
you close the browser

Try clearing the TIF Cache -

..
It may bealso be that the Favorites Folder has become corrupted. Rename the
Favorites Folder in the User account that is having the problem and restart
Windows. A new Folder will be created. You can add (copy) the Favorites
from the old folder a few at a time to be sure that it is not a bad link
that is causing the problem.

also...see the information here:

Hope this helps.
