help!

Hi,
I'm completely new to the world of computers and although I can use one quite happily, I've never owned one and haven't the faintest idea how to go about buying one or how I might get caught out...! I just need something to access the internet and do basic MS Office stuff, a PC, ( A flat screen would be good too as it needs to be easily portable.) Any advice would be really, really helpful! Thanks!

what do you mean by portable ? do you mean like laptop portable ? check out the dell dimension 5000, the basic setup should be perfect for your needs

If you do go down the DELL route (and I like them), save yourself some dosh and follow the links on the DELL site to the DELL OUTLET. There they have PC/laptops and all manner of DELL kit cheap cos they make to order so if they get a cancellation they have noone to sell to.

All my kit comes from DELL this way. Full warranties and next bus day onsite cover.
