Help !!!

Heya guys ... I back using my mum's moniter on my pc, since my moniter has a fault still which i posted in another thread.

I got home and my brother had switched moniters from mums to this one because he wanted to use it.

I go on it and it looks like the set up when we brought it ... only one log in "owner" instead of Ben's etc it has all the stuff i deleted from when we bought it. Games that came with it etc. Games don't work even though there on the desktop, but not on Add/remve programmes :S I go on itunes ... now that doesn't work :@ It said i needed Quicktime to be reinstalled done tht and everthing it says it then can't find the ipod ... I could really do with out loosing 900+ songs on my ipod !!!!

Msn Messenger doesn't work ... so atm i am having to use Windows messenger ...

Do i have to reinstall EVERYTHING ?!?!

But i can't find it on Add/remove programmes ?!?!

What do i do ... I HATE windows messenger lol Counterstrike doesn't work etc.

PLEASE HELP !
 
The computer reverted back to the state it came when you first bought it? The only thing I can think of to cause that would be running the "System Restore" application.

Try going to Help > System Restore and see if it asks if you want to undo a previous restore. It seems very odd that switching monitors caused all this?
 
Well my brother said all he did was switch moniters ?! I am just copying a cd then going to undo system restore. Hope it works ... Or you don't know how made i will go if i have to get ALL my songs back !!! :@ lol

Great !!! Now my Ipod is completely DUFFED ! Try to turn it on ... little folder comes up with an exclamation mark next to it ... great just what i needed !!! Now it makes these little like noises when turning on ...

Looks like i gunna have to send off for a stupid repair ... or go to London and get it done in 2 weeks when my mum gets back from Egypt !!!

Just what i DIDN'T need ! :@ God i hate these things ! :(

This is really lame ...

oohh... that cant be good!! perhaps something got corrupted or damaged?

is someone not telling u the truth along the lines.....?

sorry to have to state this bt it seems the right solution
or the other one is that
there is a ghost who uses ur computer when u r not around!

I will try and find out !!!

I THINK my dad may have done something but i doubt that because i learnt about pcs from him lol :P

And on "Undo system restore" i can't go back further then March :S

lol I really REALLY cheesed off !!! I might just buy a new ipod :) Can't be bothered with the other now ...

I dunno if my dad has called up HP yet about the moniter ... still under garuntee i thinks :S But that won't solve everything tat is gone !!! :(

Really upset ! lol
