I may not be in the right place, but I am desperate. I
have an employee that is trying to log into our system and
he gets an error message stating that the system cannot
log him on due to a "Time difference between client and
server". Does anyone know what I need to do to get this
fixed?

Yes, you are posting to the wrong place.

Anyway, you just need to log on to the machine using the local administrator
account, double-click the clock and change the time to match the domain
controller. It must be within 5 minutes of the time on a domain controller
to allow successful authentication.

Regards

Oli

No, it was the right place. Because cmdprompt people are very, very smart.
;)

This is a way to help, but as i think... if some user have administrators right and loged in that (or some) machine and changed the timer. It will make you not able to login again. So the more smplied way is using login script to sync date / time from server to client by each login.

Cheers

Did you read the original question?
