Just took over a network with two AD Servers (W2k
Servers). There are about 150 users on the network plus
work station. The servers need to be rebuilt because of
OS partition is two small. Big Question?? How can this be
done without having to add all the users/computers back to
the network.

Just had the same scenario. The easiest way I found was
to use "Ghost" to create an image of the server as is,
save it to a file on another computer. Then wipe out the
partitions on the existing DC with the small OS
partition. Then "Ghost" back the image: you have the
opportunity to resize the partitions with no damage. It
worked like a charm for me. You cannot resize with
existing partitions and you must wipe them out. If
something breaks along the way, you do have the image you
created!

You don't need anything but the "consumer" version of
Ghost: Norton Ghost 2003

Note: Worked for me. No gaurantee it will work for you
unless you do it properly!!!!!!

Hi,

More details needed, 2 DC's are in the same forest or what
and details????
Generally you can build a DC, seize all FSMO roles and
then dismantle the first, rebuild seize all FSMO roles
that is it...

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Bye
Selvan.
