I have read the link, but it was a little vague. I have posted all the
pertinent info. I could think of for this request for help. If there is
specific information that someone would need to fix this problem, please tell
me what that is and I will try my best to provide it. Thank you.

Acually that was a typo on my part. Sorry. My problem is:
Hi Everyone. I have Windows XP Pro w/ SP 2 (all updated) w/ Frame .net 1.1 &
..net 2.0, Sims 2, Panda Internet Sec. 2006, Broadband modem and all the
typical programs running. My problem is that I have 2 User Accounts on my
computer (both Administrators) and it seems if I try to shut down the
computer with both accounts logged on the computer freezes (I click OK to
continue for "someone else logged on".). Also, I can't seem to run the
computer with the user logged on- if I try to switch users like this, it
again freezes during the process. Yet, if I log one account and then start up
another, things seems to OK. Does anyone know what could be causing these
freeze ups and how I could fix it? (Please be specific, I'm new to this).
Thanks in Advance!
Jeff
My comp Specs: Dell 4700 Dimension, 1 GB Ram, Intel Pentium 4 (3.4), 160 GB
hard drive (about 77% free), Nvidea 7800 GT Graphics, SoundBlaster Live!
24-bit, DVD R/RW, Broadband connection, etc. Any questions, please ask.

Something you are running is using up system resources. Do some
clean-boot troubleshooting to determine what program/process is the
culprit.

Actually, after toying around with the computer I believe that Panda Internet
Security 2006 might be the culprit. Are there any know conflicts between
Panda Anti-Virus and the Fast User Switching/ User Profiles? I could seem to
find any info on the boards...

I don't know any exact correlation between Panda and Fast User Switching
but I can tell you that I've seen Panda products cause a lot of
problems on various clients' machines. It is for this reason that I
personally don't recommend their software.

I would start with Panda's tech support site and see if you can find
anything there.

Good luck,

Thanks, Malke! I sent them an email today- hopefully they'll be able to
figure this out! =)
