My various window like the active window when surfing or even when typing
this message is huge. Covers the entire screen. I have tried going to
desktop, properties and change things in there with no luck. Example now
even my "all programs" gives me a message too large to view on one screen? I
have obviously inadvertently done something? I like to view more than one
window at a time. It is just too big to do so. I have changed the font size
but have to admit I am lost. I am not a rookie but by far am not advanced
user. Could someone please help?

Font size in any Internet Explorer window is too large? Open Internet
Explorer and click the View menu. From there, click Text Size> and choose a
size. Default is medium.

However if you are instead stuck in "Full View" mode, press F11 when you
have an IE window open and the focus is on that window.

Sharon I have tried both items. The large font was not new to me but the F11
was and is a kewl option but doesn't help. Maybe my problem is in the one
particular site I use often. I hate to admit it but it is pokerstars.com. I
use to be able to put two tables side by side on the screen but now one
table takes up the entire screen????? I can move it up or down but of course
loose whatever info is in those areas. I cannot bring in the sides or top
like I would like too? Any other ideas and thanks so much for answering.

Okay.... it's still not really clear what exactly is too large - windows or
text. There is one more text setting in IE: Internet Options>
Accessibility> Ignore font size. Might try that one to see if it helps.

Or how about opening two poker windows and then right clicking on the
taskbar and choosing "tile windows" - choose vertical to get windows on the
right and left. Choose horizontal for a top/bottom presentation.

I haven't been to that site and don't know how they propagate their game
windows. If they're in regular browser windows, the above should work. (Off
topic: I hesitate going to the site to check this out firsthand because
these are the kind of places that try to direct malware to your system. Not
saying this site does that but many of the poker sites do.)

If the site opens in the main browser window and the games are in little
auxiliary pop up windows (think java games), then the size of the window
may be dictated in a manner that you cannot control - the game server
itself is involved. You can try resizing by "grabbing" the edges of the
window with your mouse cursor but if the server is setting the size, it
won't work either. Best bet, in this case, would be contact support for the
site/game.

In addition to Sharon's comments. If you have a three (3) button mouse
with the center as a scroll button. Hold down the Ctrl key with your left
hand and use the scroll button on the mouse up and down to change the
size of the print and the window. Try it.

Try the "VIEW" tab on the browser, look for "Text Size" for the setting from
smallest to Laargest.
