Help with Vista Folder underestanding...

My situation is:

When I set up Vista Home Premium, I thought I wanted to "share" media
(music, photos, etc.). My attempt to do saw (as best I can recall) had me
dragging a few blue/green folders to Users\Public folder. Now, when I look
at file structure in Windows Explorer, I see "mixed" results. It looks like
this:

At the top of the Explorer window is Desktop with user Jack immediatley
underneath. The contents of this folder include music, pictures, and video.
Even though these are under user Jack, the properties read C:\Users\Public.

Example:
Desktop
---Jack
------Music
------Pictures
------Video

When I expand Computer\Local Disk\Users\Jack, music, pictures, and video
folder are NOT there. If I look at another account - Deb - all of the
folders are there.

Example:
C:\Users
---Jack
------
---Deb
------Music
------Pictures
------Video

I think what I've done, just to make matters worse, is caused a problem for
sharing my iTunes library across home LAN. Connecting from an XP PC, I can
open/view/browse the iTunes library but the files listed do not play when I
click them suggesting to me that the files are "somewhere else".

This is probably poor described but if anyone would care to work with me,
I'd certainly be willing to add/clarify more detail and or even phone or
Skype.

Hi,

Right click the folder(s) in question, select properties. On the Location
tab, click the button to reset default. Repeat for the other folders as
needed.

To share files with other local users, place them (not the folders
containing them) in the \Users\Public folders. To share them on a network,
enable Public folder sharing in the Network and Sharing Center in the
Control Panel.
