I have PP for XP and have 2 jpeg images, one of which is a person on a
white background. I want to remove the white background and put the person's
image on top of the other image. Can someone tell me how to do this please?
I can get the person to "float" from the background using MS Paint but can't
see what to do with the "floating" person after that. I have access to corel
photopaint and a couple of other image processing pakages but cant seem to
do what must be a fairly simple process.
Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks
Chris

They key is saving your image as a .png "Ping" file. This file type allows
transparency and you can then do many effects in PowerPoint! Here are two
good resources:
http://www.tlccreative.com/ppt_tutorials.htm (download "The Power of Ping")
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00492.htm (creating .png images in Corel
Draw)

alpha/transparency and links to other tutorials)
