2- How do I change the length of viewing time before the email
message is marked as Read?

2) Tools-> Options-> tab Other-> button Reading Pane (or Preview Pane if you

Thank you very much.

3rd and final question:
After upgrading to Office SP 3 (Outlook 2002)this AM, Outlook
keeps asking me if I want to allow the program to access my
address book. Is this normal?

Yes, this is because of the increased security. Quite some add-in suppliers
already have an update available for this. Microsoft is looking into it as
well.

The only add-in that I have for Outlook is iHateSpam. I D/L'd
the update, but I still get the accessing your address book
dialog box. It really is a pain in the ass.
