Some weird website has got added to the Tools in the menu
bar, and I read all the help etc, and cannot figure out
how to delete it. Tried uninstalling and re-installing the
IE also but it did not help. The link is active in the
Tools option. Any help to remove this will eb appreciated

Thanks so much for your prompt response. It was helpful
and I was able to get rid of that link. Appreciate it.
I have two other questions if you are able to help me
1> If I clear my internet history, is there still some
other place that the files are stored and can be seen by
other users ?
2> If I delete any files or porgrams is there still some
location that the file(S) are stored on my computer and
can be accessed by other users.

1. You have to delete your temporary Internet files. Go to tools > Internet
Option > delete files button. That should be all. You can also view the
files because there are still cookies left...Also, there are still some
registry garbage left that can stay...

2. Just because you uninstall a program does not mean that it is totally
gone. It may leave behind a folder with some settings, and some registry
keys.

Take care,

Moshe
