help with system restore

Can someone please help me with a problem I am having
with system restor. It keeps telling me system restore
did not work please try another point to restore. well iI
tied 3 different dates and none of them worked. I did
make sure system restore is turned on. thanks for any
help anyone can give me
 
I had the same problem tonight. Not matter what date I put in it says it can't restore? Did you get any answers? I am going crazy. My computer is going sooooo slow!

Sounds to me like your system is infected. use a good virus/trojan/malware
scanner.
