I posted a message a few days ago about the same thing with no replies. I
really need help with shutting down this service.

I downloaded the Beta 2 ISO and I never had this problem. But when I clean-
installed the DVD that came in the mail, for some reason, I now get the Sync
Center (Green encircled arrors) icon in the system tray and I cannot shut
down this annoying feature.

In Task Manager, it is associated with 'mobsync.exe' as a running process. I
can kill it there, but it just starts again on reboot. In Defender, under
start-up, there is nothing that resembles it.

Am I the only one who has this running on start-up every time and cannot
disable it? I really hope this is a bug and not a design of Vista.

Any help would be appreciated.

You sure it's that? I've only seen the "green encircled arrows" when
Vista was looking for device drivers. Do you have any devices that you
have yet to load drivers for?

Hi,
I believe its the network sync between two items. For example the computer
and cell phone or two computers.
