I have a subform that's in a main form. Is it possible that when
the main form opens with the subform on it. I can go to a new record
and hide the exciting data in the subform? If I want to see the data I
can always move the vertical scroll bar up.

Do you want to see the boring data ;)

I suspect you will have a lot of work to do with that since there will be no
scroll bar if the records don't fill the form.
Why not just make it invisible with a button to make it show?

I made a macro to force the cursor to the last record in the subform.
As I recall I used the "on enter" property of the subform to trigger the
macro which has the "goto last" as a standard instruction in its drop-down
list. You can have a "goto new" if you want too.

This way the last record will always show, and the past records will move up
into the subform.
