I finished my form, and published to my web. When I view it on the web,
there is a string of word [Frontpage form results component]. This does not
appear in design mode, but does appear when I preview the page.

How do I get rid of this. It looks unprofessional.

Many thanks in advance for any ideas on this,
Mark

It means the FP extensions are not installed/not working on your server.
Check with your host and get them to reinstall the extensions.

You're using a FP form and using the form handler to send the email/submit
to a file or database. This error will occur if you use Frontpage
components like the form handler, guestbook, discussion forum, search form
etc and the server extensions are either not configured to use these
components or are not installed or are broken in some manner. (FTP'ing to a
FP extensions enabled server breaks them, you have to use the FP HTTP mode
for publishing.

Andrew,

Thanks. Sure appreciate the help.

The form seems to work fine, i.e., submit sends the email to me as it
should. The only issue seems to be this comment on the page with the form.

I use GoDaddy to host the site. They have a place where you can click and
reinstall Frontpage extensions. Will do so tonight. Do you know if
reinstalling the extensions will mean I will have to upload the entire site
again. Or is this reinstallation independent of the site itself?

Thanks again. Got to get this fixed before people start using the form on
the site.

Andrew,

Many thanks. That did the trick.

Wish I could click on "Yes this post was helpful" several times to express
my appreciation here. Had to be sure this was working right before tomorrow.
