Hello all,

I have a HP color laserjet 2500N that has developed some sort of
failure.

It does not seem to be documented any manuals i can find.

After startup, it lights all three indicator lights (att, ready, go)-
requesting service, when pressing the buttons for the secondary
indicators, it lights attention and go - this exact combination is not
in any manuals, so i dont really know what to look for???

regards,
Jesper James

If I recall correctly this printer cycles all of the indicators when it is
initialising, if it does this do all of them blink during the cycle? If not
maybe one of them has failed which would explain an apparently undocumented
error condition.
Secondly have you tried the embedded web server, it may give you some further
information.
Thirdly you could try the folks at www.fixyourownprinter.com , they are very
helpful, make sure you give them full details and make the header in your
message meaningful.
Lastly I have very rarely seen an error which is undocumented by HP, when I
have it has usually either been the Formatter or the main logic board that has
failed and posted an incorrect light sequence, you could also try calling HP in
case this is an undocumented error that they are aware of.
