My son who is fairly good on the computer went on the
computer and deleted something out of regedit i believe..
and now when i am on any search engine site, when i
click [SEARCH] instead of making the click noise and
taking me directly to a list of what comes up, it delays
and freezes and takes atleast a minute for a screen to
come up.. before it was instant and now it freezes.
please help. - ryan

Ask him how you would restore a previous registry if you have windows 98 or
the restore point with other system.

In windows 98 run the following command.

Start/Run applet type scanreg /restore hid the Enter key.
Select a date prior to him playing around with the registry. If it's been
more than 5 days you may be out of luck.

Didnt help.. please someone :(
