Hi all, when my computer sits idle for a while (10 or so mins) it goes to
the welcome screen, and when I come back to computer I have to wiggle mouse
then type in password to get to the desktop, Question, how do I change the
delay before computer goes to welcome screen ?, I have change power settings
to always on but no luck, still goes away from desktop, Is there a setting
for adjusting the delay ?
Many Thanks

Could it be you have hibernation enabled? Check the advanced tab from power
options.

Hi Biddy,

Right click the Desktop/Properties/Screen Saver tab, look at the options
for your Screen saver and also Uncheck the "On resume, password protect"
option.

Also in the Monitor Power settings using the Power button. Look on the
Advanced tab, and the Options section, uncheck the "Prompt for password when
computer resumes from standby" option.
