help with pop ups/unwated items in my C Drive /stuff that just installs itself

Hi i really need someones help
ok i went to work today and i come home to find around 15
pop ups and this is the frist time anythign like this has
happen here is a few things that got insatlled on my comp
and i dont know how it happend

Lycos sidesearch, EARN, Purity Scan

and now in my c drive there is couponsand offers, ezsb,
nlnp071, saveinstcm, ss_ign7_setup, svchost

and when i delte the lycos sidesearch it will come back
when i resater my computer

so plz anyone help me i would like it alot thank you

Install one or all of the following: AdAware, Pest Patrol, SpyBot Search
and Destroy, Zone Alarm, AVG Anti-Virus, HiJack This! Then after protecting
and scanning your system with one or all of the aforementioned utilities,
make sure no one but yourself can access your computer.
 
where can i get this stuff last time jim boyrd or someone
name is around that told me to run a hijack thing and
than send him or someone a copy of it to tell me what
ones i need to iggy

so i still need more help
