How do you get GPEDIT (Policy Editor) to install so it will be available in
the MMC (Microsoft Manager Console) as a Snap-in. I have expanded the files
for GPEDIT and added them to my System32 folder. I have also tried to
install the DLL via elevated command promt to the registry but no luck.
Tried to run the program from Start and still get "MMC could not create
snap-in" error. Any help is on this very frustrating feature of Vista??

Well, at least on Ultimate, I couldn't do the add-in for GPedit. It came
back and said I had to have Domain Admin rights. I cannot have Domain admin
rights, because the machine is not part of a NT domain.

You can go to the Run off of Accessories and enter GPedit.msc that will get
you to GpEdit.

Just like XP Home Edition, the Vista Home Editions (Basic and Premium)
do not have the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc). If you need that
function, upgrade to Business or Ultimate.
