Steven

I was hoping someone could help me with another outlook
problem I am having.

I currently have a POP 3 e mail account and I download my
incoming e mail messages into outlook while leaving a
copy on the server.

Occassionally when I am sent an attatchment, it does not
download onto outlook, and I need to log into to the web
site access in order to download the e mail attachment.
The funny thing is that same e mail downloads on to other
peoples' outlook setups, meaning I have somehow
restricted certain downloads in incoming e mails. (There
is no mention of any restriction action having been
taken). I say certain e mails, as I recieve attachments
the whole time without any problems.

This problem always occurs from the same sender, and
there is nothing explicit in these downloads.... i.e. my
outlook is not refusing the download due to "unacceptable
content." Also, the size of the e mail equals the size of
the e mail + the attachment, but there is no indication
of an attachment.... (no paper clip symbol is shown).
Just to complicate matters further, I don't get to read
forwards from the same sender. Instead the forward (or
little envelope) opens but there is no text.

Thanks for your help with this. I congratulate anyone who
can get through all of that and understand it all!!!

Maybe this can help you. In your Tools Menu, select
Option, then select the Security Folder, there's an
option which doesn't allow to open files with an
attachment that may contain a virus, if this option is
selected you'll never have access to the attachment,
deselect this option. Now, If I understand well this only
happens with an specific sender, maybe this sender is
blocked, you can see this on the Message Menu, on Block
sender option. Hope this can help you.
